The owners, Jackie & James were really helpful and friendly. On arrival they gave us advice & tips of places to see, eat, walk etc. The hotel itself was extremely comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious, an excellent way to start the day especially if you're tackling long walks & mountains. We would definitely stay here again.
The shower in our room wasn't great but did the job, although we found a day spa anyway not too far from the hotel, which we used for their pool, steam room, sauna etc and used the showers there.

Everyone who works there are friendly, helpful and polite - they have good knowledge of the local area - especially for restaurants etc. The room was spacious and exceptionally clean - as was the rest of the House. The breakfast was very well cooked, delicious and hot. The hospitality tray was stocked up each day. The parking outside was free and we were always able to park.
The shower/toilet was small and the shower 'tap' was easily knocked and turned hot and cold quickly.

I really enjoyed the 'full english' breakfast
I didn't really dislike anything if you factor in that this is a Victorian guest house.
